FAQs

Why IV or Injection Therapy?

IV and Injection Therapy is the most efficient way to provide your body with optimal nutrients and hydration. Bypassing the digestive system insures 100% absorption and max benefits. Allowing your body to utilize them immediately.

How are the Infusions/Injections administered?

All IVs and Injections are given by a trained Registered Nurse. Injections are administered IM or SubQ, while IV are in a vein in the arm.

How soon will I feel the benefits?

Everybody is different. Depending on your metabolism, most people start feeling the effects within 30 min - 24hrs.

How long will the effects of Vitamin Therapy last?

No two patients are alike, so it’s hard to pinpoint exactly how long you’ll feel the effects of treatment. Part of this depends on your body’s metabolism, as vitamins and IV fluids will remain in your system until they are metabolized and excreted.

Are there any side effects?

Side effects are generally non-existent or mild. On occasion, you may experience some tenderness, bruising, redness, itching, or inflammation at or around the site of injection/infusion, that could last from a few minutes to several days. Less frequent and very rare side effects may include lightheadedness, nausea, fatigue, headache, dizziness, warmth or flushing. A true allergic reaction is extremely rare.

FAQs

My bloodwork showed my B12 levels off the chart. Should I be worried?

The short answer is no. The Institute of Medicine (IOM) has not established an upper limit (UL) for Vitamin B12 because of its low potential for toxicity. IOM states “no adverse effects have been associated with excess vitamin B12 intake from food + supplements in healthy individuals.” Most water-soluble vitamins have no known upper limit for intake with little to no possibility of toxicity. However, a high level when NOT supplementing with B12 may necessitate further testing to rule out any underlying condition.

How often should I get an Infusion \ Injection?

If you’re generally healthy, IV infusion therapy just once or twice a month could be enough to infuse your body with the nutrients it needs for optimal wellness and performance. While injections are used in the body faster, we recommend once a week for at least a month or until you achieve your health goals.
